European (EU) Working Time Directive This set includes the EU labour and rest standards according to European Working Time Directive of November 4, 2003 for employees aged 18 and older. This directive shall apply to the minimum daily and weekly rest periods and minimum weekly annual leave, to breaks and maximum weekly working time and certain aspects of night and shift work and work.
International Labour Organization (ILO) Conventions Since 1919, the ILO has maintained and developed a system of international labour standards aimed at promoting opportunities for women and men to obtain decent and productive work, in conditions of freedom, equity, security and dignity. In today's globalized economy, international labour standards are an essential component in the international framework for ensuring that the growth of the global economy provides benefits to all. This set includes the ILO Conventions for  labour and rest periods.
Déhora Recommendations We advise a number of additional labour and rest standards that may be of interest to a decent working schedule. These by Déhora recommended standards relate mainly to employees working in night shifts.
